Shift2Zero project was introduced during the first IPIC 2026 webinar “Physical Internet in action for last-mile logistics”, organised by ALICE and bringing together researchers, practitioners and policy stakeholders to explore how Physical Internet (PI) principles can be applied to last-mile logistics.

Shift2Zero representatives attend two recent webinars organised by LeMesurier project held from October and November.

As part of the Shift2Zero project, partners from the Institute for Automotive Engineering (IKA) led two hands-on workshops in Italy, bringing an innovative augmented-reality (AR) experience to logistics operators and vehicle manufacturers. Using AR headsets, participants explored full-scale virtual vehicle concepts, providing practical feedback that will guide the development of sustainable and user-oriented solutions for future urban logistics.
