Shift2Zero featured at ITS Hellas AI for Mobility workshop
The Shift2Zero project was featured at the 1st Co-Creation Workshop on Artificial Intelligence in Mobility, organised by ITS Hellas on 31 March 2026 in Athens. Project insights were shared to highlight the role of artificial intelligence and zero-emission solutions in modernising logistics operations.
As part of the workshop, Lykourgos Manoliadis, Deputy General Manager at Diakinisis Logistic Services — a Shift2Zero partner — delivered a talk on “AI for Mobility”. The session showcased how advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, telematics, IoT sensors and predictive analytics, can be integrated into daily distribution and supply chain management.
Shift2Zero activities were highlighted alongside the zero-emission commercial vehicle developments taking place within the project, featuring partners such as the Institute of Automotive Engineering. Manoliadis outlined how Diakinisis could expand Shift2Zero’s novel vehicle concepts across its extensive logistics network of regional distribution centres, hubs and main warehouses.
These initiatives directly support Shift2Zero’s core mission to accelerate the transition toward more efficient, user-centred and zero-emission urban logistics and distribution operations.
