Łukasiewicz – Poznań Institute of Technology is part of the Łukasiewicz Research Network, the third-largest research network in Europe. The Institute is a multidisciplinary scientific and research unit that carries out R&D projects and provides commercial services, including in the field of modern mobility. It focuses on developing innovative solutions and technologies in logistics and transport, tailoring them to the specific needs of the economy or individual clients.
Contribution to Shift2Zero
Łukasiewicz-PIT’s role in the Shift2Zero project is to coordinate the pilot deployment of the N1 eLCVs platform in real urban conditions in Wroclaw (Poland). LPIT will participate in efficiency evaluation framework development. Łukasiewicz – PIT is also specific tasks leader responsible for carrying out a financial efficiency analysis, including a TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) analysis, as well as verifying the effectiveness of the proposed concept with the defined overall S2Z project KPIs and other operational performance indicators. The compliance of the N1 platform and its use with social, environmental and governance (ESG) and security aspects will also be a part of assessment.
