Institute for Transport and Logistics Foundation
The Institute for Transport and Logistics Foundation (ITL) is a not-for-profit body which aims advance the development, innovation and promotion of logistics and transport systems in the Emilia-Romagna Region through research, consultancy and training activities. ITL contributes to the growth of the logistics and mobility sectors by participating in national and European projects, as well as by facilitating network relationships among public authorities, private companies and educational institutions.
Contribution to Shift2Zero
ITL will coordinate activities related to the preparation of the demos, as well as coordinating the Bologna pilot action. This demonstrator will test a new logistics model involving urban transhipment hubs near the city centre and new tailored vehicles equipped with new technologies for the delivery of refrigerated products.
